New and Improved Games Lists!

So many Sega games!

Hey everyone.

After nearly three years of Sega Does, I’m finally in the process of putting up the Dreamcast game lists.

I’ve already posted the 1998-1999 Dreamcast page and I’ve added release dates after every title. It’s… different. Don’t get me wrong, I like the idea of the release date after the title, I’m just not sure I like the look. I’ve also spent hours organizing games lists, and I’m not sure what looks good anymore.

This is why I’m reaching out for feedback. What do you guys think? Ideally, I’d like to add dates to all the games lists, but I’d like to get it right the first time. If enough people dig the current look on the 1998-1999 Dreamcast page, I’ll keep it. If not, I’ll figure something else out.

Also, after I get this issue resolved, I plan to make alphabetical lists for every system, and one enormous chronological list. This will be a lot of work, but I think it will be helpful for folks going forward.

Lastly, Zan Gear review tomorrow! I know I’ve been making a lot of update posts, but I like letting people know what’s happening around the site. If you have any other suggestions or thoughts, let me know in the comments below and I will do my best!

I like the Dreamcast list – the release date information is pretty useful, especially if games have similar names!

Being a Brit. I always find the way Americans show dates as backwards (we show date, then the month).
But I’m sure it’s something I can get my head around if you run with it.

Have you tried listing the date first followed by the game title? That way it makes it look like a timeline which I think wolud look pretty organized. In fact here’s a suggestion that goes along with the Brit idea:

1998

27 Nov 98 – Godzilla Generations
27 Nov 98 – July
27 Nov 98 – Pen Pen TrilceLon
27 Nov 98 – Virtua Fighter 3tb
17 Dec 98 – Incoming
23 Dec 98 – Seventh Cross Evolution
23 Dec 98 – Sonic Adventure
23 Dec 98 – Tetris 4D

An so forth. Just though I’d throw it out there.
